Registration is open for The Difficult Airway Course: EMS™ on July 18-19, 2024 at the UW Health Emergency Education Center in Madison, Wisconsin. The Difficult Airway Course: EMS™ is the only definitive continuing medical education program in which EMS providers can work directly with expert faculty to learn the full range of airway management techniques for the prehospital setting.

In this practice-changing course, participants will:

  • Use proven airway devices in small group sessions.
  • Practice decision-making and airway techniques in Code Airway™ simulations.
  • Face the most challenging patient scenarios in a no-risk environment.

Through didactic and hands-on training, participants will explore difficult and failed airway management, video laryngoscopy and other advanced imaging devices, medication-assisted intubation (including RSI, DSI & RSA), airway assessment tools and procedures, pediatric airway management, surgical cricothyrotomy, ventilator management, extraglottic devices, CPAP and BiPAP, and capnography.
