The BerbeeWalsh Department of Emergency Medicine co-sponsored the 30th annual Wisconsin Emergency Medicine Research Forum on Thursday, April 21, 2022, in partnership with the Department of Emergency Medicine at the Medical College of Wisconsin and the Wisconsin chapter of the American College of Emergency Physicians (WACEP).
This one-day event celebrating regional scholarship takes place during the WACEP Annual Spring Symposium and featured virtual oral and poster presentations from emergency medicine physicians, fellows, residents, medical students, and other health care professionals.
The following presentations from the UW Department of Emergency Medicine received conference honors:
- Best Faculty Oral Presentation: Dr. Michael Pulia – “Comparing Interspecialty Diagnostic Confidence and Accuracy of Cellulitis Diagnosis”
- Best Learner Poster: Tikiri Bandara – “A Retrospective Content Analysis of Coach-facilitated Goal Setting by Older Adults Following ED Discharge”
The Department of Emergency Medicine congratulates all participants and presenters for the impressive showing of high quality and high-impact research being conducted between UW and MCW.
