Rudi Zurbuchen, MD, PGY-2 resident and incoming chief resident for the 2022-23 academic year, was awarded a 2022 Howard J. Croft Resident Advocate Award from the Wisconsin chapter of the American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP).
The award was developed to recognize one resident from each of the two Emergency Medicine Residency Programs in Wisconsin—the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health and the Medical College of Wisconsin—who have demonstrated exemplary advocacy efforts related to the field of emergency medicine and who have acted to advance emergency care.
Dr. Zurbuchen was honored for her work as an EMRA Program Representative, Resident Wellness Committee Chair and for her volunteer time with the Wisconsin Senior Center spending time on health fairs, healthy cooking demos and playing violin for seniors during their socials.
