Becky is a researcher and lab manager with Dr. Michael Pulia’s Emergency Care for Infectious Diseases (EC-ID) research program. Since 2011, she has worked on a variety of research projects within the UW School of Medicine and Public Health, managing large multi-site clinical trials, participating in program evaluations locally and internationally, and helping to develop educational programs to promote health in vulnerable populations. She has experience in both quantitative and qualitative analysis.
Becky has interests include health equity and communication in healthcare. She is currently pursuing her doctorate in clinical investigation, studying patient-centered care outcomes among patients with Non-English language preferences (NELP) in the emergency care setting.
