Lydia Malen

Lydia is pursuing her bachelor degree in Computer Engineering and Computer Sciences at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. Lydia works with Dr. Brian Patterson’s falls prevention lab coordinating research at the intersection of computing and medicine to improve patient care and provider satisfaction. She is active in computer engineering outside of her studies at work with the Department of Emergency Medicine, including working with the Society of Women Engineers at UW–Madison, contributing to Wisconsin Engineer Magazine, and in a number of other campus interest groups and professional societies.
