Meghan obtained her Master’s of Social Work from the University of Wisconsin–Whitewater in 2021. Her career interests include intellectual and developmental disability, transition to adulthood for individuals with disabilities, Autism, down syndrome, and the impact of disabilities on health.

Meghan is a doctoral researcher completing her PhD in Social Welfare at the Sandra Rosenbaum School of Social Work, UW–Madison. Meghan has worked with individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDDs) for many years through different experiences such as Special Olympics, Best Buddies, and in providing respite care. Meghan is a long-term trainee in the WI LEND program and is excited to further develop her knowledge base and passion through LEND and her work with the Aging and Health Equity of Adults with Developmental Disabilities (AHEADD) team through the Waisman Center.
