Dr. Alyssa Valentyne joins the UW–Madison faculty after completing her emergency medicine training at the University of Michigan, where she served as chief resident and participated in the Climate Health & Sustainability and Wilderness Medicine tracks.
Dr. Valentyne grew up in Kimberly, Wisconsin, and earned bachelor’s degrees in biology and Spanish from UW–Oshkosh before earning her medical degree from the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. Her academic interests include climate health, health care sustainability, wilderness medicine and medical education.
