The division partners closely with the Emergency Care Systems Lab (ECSL), a cross-cutting platform that aligns emergency department operations with research. ECSL creates a shared venue for operational and research stakeholders, provides research infrastructure and project management, and offers an academic home for investigators from other disciplines whose work intersects with emergency care delivery.

- Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering in the UW–Madison College of Engineering
- Department of Biostatistics and Medical Informatics in the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health
- UW Institute for Clinical and Translational Research, including the Learning Health System program
- The UW EMS Consortium, UW Health Med Flight, and Dane County EMS
