UW emergency physician and flight physician Jeff Pothof, MD was selected for induction into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.
Dr. Pothof serves as the Chief Quality Officer for UW Health and has become a deeply respected source of information for the general public during the #COVID19 pandemic, as well as a leader in shaping UW Health’s response to the most challenging medical and public health crisis of our generation.
Robert N. Golden, MD, Dean of the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health, said of Dr. Pothof during yesterday’s induction ceremony:
“Whenever I see that Dr. Tony Fauci is going to appear on TV, I fully expect him to be introduced as, ‘This is the Jeff Pothof of Washington, D.C.,’ which would indeed be a great compliment to Dr. Fauci.”
