Ryan Wubben, MD, celebrates 20 years as UW–Madison faculty this month. Dr. Wubben is a clinical professor and flight physician in the BerbeeWalsh Department of Emergency Medicine and UW Health Med Flight, respectively, and also serves as Medical Director the UW Athletics Department EMS system. He is an alumnus of the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health (’97).
In addition to his work and impact in both the emergency department and with UW Med Flight, Dr. Wubben’s career is one of service and a commitment to education, both locally and internationally.
Whether with UW Med Flight or his time as President of the Air Medical Physician Association, to global health or the UW MIA Recovery and Identification Project, or his long-time tenure as a Wisconsin Medical Alumni Association (WMAA) board member and his committee work within the medical school, the Department of Emergency Medicine is fortunate to have leaders like Dr. Wubben as faculty.
