Dr. Steinfeldt was born and raised in Green Bay, Wisconsin. He completed his medical degree at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health and residency in pediatrics at Oregon Health and Sciences University in Portland, Oregon. Following residency, he completed fellowship training in pediatric emergency medicine at Phoenix Children’s Hospital in Arizona.
Dr. Steinfeldt is a first-generation descendant of the Oneida tribe and aspires to give back to Native communities. His professional interests include improving child health in Native/rural communities and utilizing a hybrid simulation model to improve pediatric readiness in rural emergency departments. In his free time, Dr. Steinfeldt enjoys spending time with his wife and two children.
