She completed her residency training in Emergency Medicine in New York City before returning to Wisconsin to begin her clinical career. During this time, she developed a strong interest in forensic medicine while serving as Medical Director for a Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) program and subsequently earned a master’s degree in the field.
Over the past decade, Dr. Petrie’s clinical work has focused on Urgent Care medicine, with an emphasis on operational leadership and medical administration. Her professional interests include clinical operations, leadership development, building strong and effective relationships within care teams, and developing efficient systems that support high quality, patient-centered care.
Outside of work, Dr. Petrie enjoys spending time with her husband and their two beagles, supporting animal welfare, and making use of her Green Bay Packers season tickets.
