Dr. McCauley holds board certification in emergency medicine and critical care medicine. He divides his clinical time between the Emergency Department and Cardiothoracic ICU. His clinical and teaching interests include respiratory support, mechanical circulatory support and critical care echocardiography. He is a testamur of the National Board of Echocardiography.
He currently functions as the Associate Medical Director of the UW Organ and Tissue Donation service where he helps manage patients providing the gift of organ and tissue donation across the state. In his free time, Dr. McCauley enjoys running, cycling, and any other excuse to be outdoors.
