Why UWEM? The program is incredibly supportive of its residents and has the educational opportunities I am looking for. There is a great culture here with awesome faculty, staff, and residents, which is very inviting for learners. There is also a strong sense of community, and it’s a place where I feel like I can thrive. Additionally, I get to continue being a lifelong Wisconsin Badger after having also attended UW–Madison for undergrad and my MD/MPH dual program. I’m also interested in continuing to work with the UW’s Native American Center for Health Professions.
