Dr. Cesarz is a Wisconsin native, who completed both undergraduate and medical education at the University of Wisconsin. She completed her emergency medicine residency training in Central Florida before returning to UW to complete a simulation fellowship. She continues to work as a faculty member in the Simulation Division, where she supports simulation-based education for emergency medicine residents, medical students, and faculty. Her medical interests include simulation curricular development, debriefing education, medical student and resident education, and improving the clinical environment using simulation.
In her free time, Dr. Cesarz enjoys spending time with her husband (also an emergency medicine physician) and her son, frequenting Brewers and Packers games, and going to the Dane County Farmers’ Market.
