Department of Emergency Medicine Grand Rounds is a weekly multidisciplinary and interprofessional conference series designed to improve a participant’s ability to practice emergency medicine, including patient care, conduct health care research, providing medical education, addressing public health, and implementing innovation.
Grand Rounds are presented by guest faculty from all across the country. We warmly welcome guest speakers from diverse backgrounds with knowledge in diversity, equity, and inclusion as part of our residency program’s cultural competency curriculum .
Grand Round lectures take place Thursday mornings, typically from 10-11 a.m. CST, at our academic office on the UW Hospitals and Clinics medical campus. CME credits are available for eligible health care providers through the UW–Madison Interprofessional Continuing Education Partnership.
